In a just world, what the bailout plan might have looked like...

Congratulations Banking Industry!

You are pre-approved for a bailout loan in the amount of $700,000,000,000! This will be available to you at the very low APR of 1.25%*. Use these funds to stimulate the economy! Restore market confidence! Ensure prosperity and growth! And save capitalism and democracy for future generations! Don't delay in accepting this offer, the financial health of the country depends on it!

*Your annual percentage rate may vary at the whims of the Federal Reserve Board. Loan subject to the following terms and conditions:

A minimum payment of 2% of the balance is due each and every month on a due date which will appear to be selected randomly (but will likely fall on a Sunday or holiday). Please make a check or money order payable in U.S. dollars to the Department of the Treasury, Washington, D.C. 20220. Do not send cash. Write your taxpayer ID number on your check or money order. Payments must be received in our office by 1:00 PM Eastern Time on the last business day** before the due date. We are not responsible for any mail delays (even though we run the Post Office). If the minimum payment is not received by this time, you will be charged a $39,000,000,000 late fee, and your account will be charged a default APR of 30.74%. Your first payment of $14,000,000,000 is due by December 1, 2008. Please be aware that your payment must be received on the last business day** before this date to avoid a late fee and default APR.

We may report information about your account to credit bureaus, or to the mass media. Late payments, missed payments, or other defaults on your account, as well as attempted bribes to government officials, will be reported. If you believe the information reported is inaccurate, or you believe you have been unfairly charged a late fee, you may call our special Bailout Service Center we have set up in Iraq, where someone who speaks very little English will attempt to resolve your concern. Please call during normal business hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM Iraq Standard Time (that is, between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM Eastern Standard Time, or 2:00 AM and 7:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time).

We reserve the right to change the terms of this agreement, including APRs and fees, at any time for any reason. After all, we're the government. We can pretty much do anything we want.

**"Business day" means any day not a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday. Holidays include New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Lincoln's Birthday, Valentine's Day, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Pearl Harbor Day, Christmas, Groundhog Day, St. Patrick's Day, Mardi Gras, Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, Easter Monday, April Fool's Day, Earth Day, Arbor Day, Cinco de Mayo, Columbus Day, Halloween, Passover, Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan (all 29 or 30 days), and Lent (all 40 days). Good luck getting your payments in on time.

If you watch "Psych"...

I was watching the season finale of Psych and they made a reference to one of the main characters, Gus (played by Dulé Hill), looking like 'Bud' from the Cosby Show, I had to look up who really played Bud. And it was Deon Richmond, who also played in a short-lived NBC show called "Teachers" last year. Also he played the "token black guy" in Not Another Teen Movie, a character who was a parody of the character Preston from She's All That, played by none other than Dulé Hill!

The really interesting thing I found was this picture of two characters on Teachers, who bear a striking resemblence to both of the main characters (Shawn & Gus) in Psych!

heh, not too surprising....

You scored as agnosticism. You are an agnostic. Though it is generally taken that agnostics neither believe nor disbelieve in God, it is possible to be a theist or atheist in addition to an agnostic. Agnostics don't believe it is possible to prove the existence of God (nor lack thereof).

Agnosticism is a philosophy that God's existence cannot be proven. Some say it is possible to be agnostic and follow a religion; however, one cannot be a devout believer if he or she does not truly believe.

Jen on Howard Stern (Miss Butta-face)

I know this was a long time ago (heh, ok about a month) but I've had the two Howard Stern shows with Jen (thatjen) from jensex.com on my Tivo for a while, and I figured, before I delete them from the Tivo, is there anyone out there that missed them and wanted to see these shows? Comment here and let me know if you're interested. These shows were on E! on 5/21 and 5/22.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone, I know it's been almost 4 months since I've updated this thing, and I'm sure a couple of you out there are wondering how I've been. Anyway, things are going pretty well with the job and stuff. My life in general is going pretty well, and I also have a girlfriend who makes me happy. My girlfriend now has her own livejournal (hopefully she'll keep it updated more than I have been doing with my own). Her name is Chelsea and she is puppydog_cs. So say hi and add her to your friends list if you'd like.

Anyways, maybe I'll see some of you at some LJ event, maybe even camplj.

Time for my monthly update....

Well, I'm still working... that's good. Still living in my apartment, also good. Got through the holidays in one piece!

Anyway, thought I'd let you know about a couple of events where you can see me and get updated if ya want... my friend Chelsea is karaoke host at a place called Casa de Carillos down at the International Boardwalk at the Redondo Beach Pier, on Sunday nights 6 p.m.-10 p.m. (the karaoke goes until 2 a.m. though).

Also, Chelsea is celebrating her birthday on Monday, December 30, at TJ Charlyz from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Come one, come all!

Happy New Year!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Turkey Day everyone! I know it's been SOOOOO long since you've all seen me online... long story... but anyway I'm back, but probably still won't be on as much as I used to... having a job and still trying to catch up on things that I've fallen WAY behind on is going to be taking up most of my time.

Still haven't hooked up my webcam.. need to get a new ethernet card so I can free up the one working USB port on this laptop, or set up my other computer.

I have a new apartment! It's a 2 bedroom... much smaller than the former Kastle Kayla/Dan's Domain, but adequate size (might even say perfect size). One Saturday in December I will try to have a housewarming party.

Today I will be going to my sisters for turkey dinner.. yum! I'll try to be online late tonight... if not, perhaps this weekend.

Rest in peace, Celsius, 1997-2002. I'll miss you.
